    crucially, debugging allows you to learn so much more. And reading documentation after the problem is solved by debugging is so much more interesting!

    The niche world I work in I am either the one writing the documentation or correcting mistakes in others. Nobody really appreciates it when I spend a whole debugging one little thing, but hopefully the next guy does…

      As someone who’s built a bunch of stuff in healthcare, it’s almost always miserable, but sometimes…very rarely…there are good docs and a well thought out API. It just makes me so happy to see people with pride in their work!
