I hate the fancy restaurants with the stupid square/rectangle yuppie plates. Why the plate gotta be so damn small? It leaves you no choice but to make a damn mess especially with all that sauce everywhere.

It makes it look like you are getting more food so that way you don’t think about the fact that you just paid 15 to 20 bucks for a bagel sandwich.
You’re someone who refuses to eat pizza cut into squares, aren’t you.
Nope square Pizza is fine. It’s even a requirement if ya baked it in a rectangular pan, which is how many Pizzas I’ve eaten have been made.
Theyre talking about plates not food
I’m ok with square plates, but the rectangular ones annoy me because it means you can’t turn them the way you might want to. In order to, for example, not have food fall off your fork and go everywhere.
I never understood why people serve food like this? When ever I get a dish like this, the first thing I do is disassemble it so i can actually fucking eat it.
I get its visually appealing, but I am not 12 and i just want to eat a bagel.
Sorry for the rant
I hate it when food looks attractive like that because it almost always tastes disappointing.
Uhg Instagram
Was a problem before IG/TikTok too but people want photos of ridiculous meals so restaurants serve them and the cycle continues
Is that chocolate milk?
I think it’s some sort of coffee drink.
Looks like a Milchkaffee, which is kinda like a cafe au lait
Is that supposed to be a salad? Because it looks like a bunch of entire vegetables.
For those who don’t get the joke, bagels are a Jewish food.
Also, I’d argue they got a good thing going there. Got the gravlax, bagel, and egg on top. Sounds like a delicious breakfast sandwich to me (just get rid of the silly kebab spear and give me some fruit on the side or something).
Idk, that looks like a pretty good topper to one of those $25 bloody marys 😋
