that’s why I always say “idk”
Anon’s favourite music genre:
Sometimes when it’s quiet and I get a moment to sit, ponder, and allow myself to be bored, I’ll hear either The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time title theme song or, if I’m feeling energised, I’ll hear the opening theme for a new game start in Super Mario 64 (where Lakitu is flying around with the camera and Mario jumps out of the warp pipe).
Ocarina of Time soundtrack lives in my head rent free too. For me, its usually Lost Woods, everyone who played remembers the tune even if they don’t know the name.
An(n)ons favourite song: https://youtu.be/xvT2h0DRfX0
Video game music fucks. I have the entire Banjo Kazooie soundtrack and the Diddy king racing sound track on my main playlist. Even a couple songs from Zelda, star fox and golden eye.
Yes the N64 was my first console how did you know?
NFS:MW radio playing on my headphones 24/7.
Need For Speed: Modern Warfare?
Most Wanted
I have the Jet Set Radio, Jet Set Radio Future, and Bombrush Cyberfunk soundtracks in regular rotation. If only I still had knees so I could rollerblade…
Don’t worry, I’m a gen z who can rollerblade but wants to get better and know cool tricks and shit because I love those game OSTs and wanna pretend I’m one of the characters, despite never having played them (maybe one day I’ll bootleg the JSR games). I also wanna learn how to skateboard to em. I’ll skate in your honor.
I have fucked up loose ankles tho so we’ll see how far I get before I wipeout for the final time
Haha, thanks, yo! JSRF should still be available through Xbox/Microsuck and Bombrush Cyberfunk is on Steam. The OG JSR you’ll have to bootleg since they pulled it from Steam a few months ago.
Would you stop playing with that radio of yours, I’m trying to get to sleep!
Another one I love is the Space Channel 5 music, oh and Parappa the Rapper.
The Bemani games are also great, but does that count as video game music or just music?
Every day my grey hairs get greyer. I was already in my gaming prime by the time N64 came around. A seasoned veteran of the gaming world. Having had saved the princess in multiple series, in multiple games, in mjltiple consoles, for over 10 years by that point…
Now the kids ask if I got “Rizz”. No. I know not of this Rizz…what I do have is a very particular set of skills. Skills I have developed over a prolonged career. Skills that make me a nightmare for punks like you. If you put the controller down now, that will be the end of it. I will not pursue you. If you don’t, I will look for you, I WILL find you, and I’ll plug my toys r us gold exclusive N64 controller into port 2, I will pick Jaws, insist you pick oddjob, and still wipe the floor with you!
Hail to the king, baby!!! Oh, sorry, wrong N64 shooting game.
Detroit: Become Human theme music make me have an existential crisis
Naah, I will just start playing The only they fear is you.
Relatable, I listen to political and historical music and nobody takes me seriously. Sadly people dont appreciate good music :c
(Einheitsfrontlied is beautiful, people just also dont appreciate German music)
Gonna play this in honor of anon.
And this
Hop on Yoshi and the drums kick in
Surviving Mars: Free Earth Radio
I’ll listen to that on eternal repeat through a full day of work.
Paradox games never miss with the music. Stellaris is also amazing.
Meh just own it… Fuck yeah I listen to Mario, have you ever heard the Super Mario Bros. 2 music? Shit is off the chain.
There’s a reason it’s won game of the year so many years in a row.
Na na~ nanananana~ na~ na~ na, Katamari Damashii
If you started with the beatboxed version at that family table, I would back you up with the bzzchek budda bucheck sounds. Greentext’s family doesn’t know the classics.
*someone brings out a fucking trumpet from under the table*
*everyone else starts chirping, doo doodo do doo doo!*
*neighbour leans in the window and starts making deep Jubbajubbadzabajzaba sounds*-Hey!-
Game freak for all the bad execution they do, have killer soundtracks
My 2yo goes fucking nuts when Bobomb battle field plays, particularly the Hang onto your Hat remix album. Whole family dancing, kids spinning around, good times had by all.
