So, I’m not Australian and, until I recognized the animal, I kept thinking the sign was pronounced Quo-Kah. Had to google how to pronounce it. It’s pronounced Qu-ah Khah. Anyone else struggle reading that?

Wikipedia says /ˈkwɒkə/ which I think was your original pronunciation.
I’m gonna. They can’t stop me.
stops you and bans you from the restaurant
Any restaurant that doesn’t let me let in the quokkas probably isn’t even a place I want to eat. They can’t ban me, I ban myself!
They can’t
Hmm.
I suppose quokkas are a protected class.
What are they going to do, put up a sign that says “don’t let in [email protected]”?
that quokka is fresh from throwing her baby at a predator to escape, she needs a good meal
How many can I feasibly let in?
I was thinking I could probably carry 5-6 in my arms and at least 2 in my purse. I’ll be getting a booth for me and my friends, tyvm.
Excellent plan!
Well he seems very polite so I’ll make an exception
I understood that reference
Never heard of our seen one before. Sounds like a name for something in Australia. Is that where this is?
Yep, quokkas are only native to Australia.
I’d a called 'em Chazzwozzers
I mean it just sounds like an Australian word. Super cute creature.
They are very cute and have no fear of humans.
Why? Are they bad tippers?
