This is my grandpa time, but I love Cinnamon for the less modern UI.
The new UI won’t bother me a cent, but I really disliked KDE for no apparent reason, and Cinnamon hit right what I like about a UI.
I understand that a lot of things can be customized, but I am talking about OoB experience.
People spend thousands of dollar for their furniture, but dont want to pay the extra 75$ it takes to have strong people come and bring their furniture home.
Yes, but it is not acceptable in today’s capitalism. Only the growth of growth matters.
If the line does not go up enough, the company is failing.
There is no point of starting the chart to 0 since it doesn’t give any information other than the share price, which is already communicated by the Y axis anyways.
Might be that the CEO and upper management are dumb fucks running the company to the ground.
No more innovation, just microtransactions in shitty games, and the same old rehashed concepts.

Literally not. This is human nature. If you think you aren’t affected by ads, think again.
Marketing has researched what triggers our animal response, and we are affected to varying degrees. Some people more, some people less.
But you most likely bought something because you saw an ad.
It would be a good rebuttal if there wasn’t all the marketing and ads to consume.
Ad agencies literally study what works and what doesn’t, always refining their techniques, so that they can sell you more shit.
Yeah but its a shitty tactic to pay less. “We wanted X years, but you have X-Y years of experience, so we can’t give you the high end of the pay scale”
Are you okay? OP’s post was pretty well written, and the guy only explained his moral dilemma without being disrespectful and you come shouting down like a banshee.
His point is a totally valid one and should be discussed to alleviate any moral dilemma to be had.
My neckbeard grew instantly reading that post.
I would be curious how costly is the overhead + social charges, but I am pretty sure that nurses would make more than at their private agency.
Like even if we split that in half to be really conservative, that would be a bit more than 65$/h.
Also, I am pretty sure that no nurse got. 33% raise. So some fat fingers got into the cookie jar.
The economy seems to be extremely slow and everyone that looks for a job, regardless of the field, have problems.
This is anecdotal, but I usually get the typical recruiter in my inbox twice or month at least, but lately, I don’t have any. It usually means less hiring.
Eugenics doesn’t mean killing anyone, just improve the genetic qualities of humans.
You could do selective breeding, incentivized breeding (entice the right candidates with whatever) ,gene manipulations, etc…
But I understand that proponents of eugenics usually have extreme right wing views, and why you would come to that conclusion.
I’d be fucking butthurt as well if my pet project was being destroyed by mega corpos for a shitty generative thief AI.
At one point, if you explicitly put your body on social media, multiple time, on multiple platforms, that’s kind of the expected behaviour no?
Sometimes, i wanna watch porn and sometimes I want to look at women that I find attractive. Does that mean that I have to exclusively watch someone my age?
I much prefer looking at women my age, but let’s be real, the older I get, the less I see them on social media.
Because the dumdums have access to the whole world at the tip of the fingertip without having to put any efforts in.
In a time without that, they would be ridiculed for their stupid ideas and told to pipe down.
Now they can find like minded people and amplify their stupidity, and be loud about it.
So every dumdum becomes an AI prompt engineer (whatever the fuck that means) and know how to game the LLM, but do not understand how it works. So they are basically just snake oil salesmen that want to get on the gravy train.
VC funding is basically gambling, trying to find the next billion dollar company. So they throw money at anything that has any semblance of traction to get in early and cash out when the time comes.
