Well, where are all those deaths caused by choking during sex because of porn? I would bet that many more visits to er are caused by trying to emulate the sex in the bath tube while having a couple wine glasses around scenes so typical in ‘romantic’ movies/shows, than by all the kinks seen in porn together.

Parents should, and I’m aware many do, tell their children that tv, movies, porn… are meant to entertain, not teach, and they are very different from how real life things work.

In fact the only thing I would say is incorrect is the word ‘failures’, since I think they (the liberals, be it the Democrats or the equivalent in other countries) haven’t failed at all, quite the opposite, they’ve played their part masterfully to bring us here. Even this side of the pond, without a ‘first pass the post’ system, with lots of parties, coalitions, and what not, it’s still exactly the same play.

First, punk is where it’s always been: in the streets, the boroughs, in the young people that are discovering how trashy this world and society are… I’ve been out of the scene for quite a while, but from time to time I do still go to some concert or other events.

Don’t the rest of the countries in the region use similar maps? South Korea, Australia, Japan…? I would expect that to be the case, it seems more natural.

IIRC the forever chemicals are not the coating that stays on the pan. The Teflon coating is inert, the toxic part is the water soluble PFAS they use to apply it that would go away (away meaning everywhere, each and every corner of the planet) while or shortly after manufacturing, or with the first uses.

So if you already own non-sticky pans don’t get rid of them, but look for another alternative when you buy a new one tho.

Independent from what? The government? Money? There aren’t ‘independent’ broadcasters, news agencies, journals, or anything really. Everything is propaganda. Like this article states 700k Palestinian people dead in the war so far, with the source being another article from themselves with some weird math, which is ten times what other sources are reporting—all of them, from the Gaza Health Ministry and Al Jazeera to western ‘left’ leaning media. If anything, they can only be independent from reality. They’re never bound by the truth, but by their own interests and biases.

It’s easy. You protect children from religion the same way we already do with alcohol, tobacco, porn, explicit violence… and all the other adult things. Developing problematic behaviours around these things is much more likely the younger you start. Religions know this well, that’s why they start as soon as the child is born. It would be very difficult to convince an adult person to do crazy things for the magic man in the sky if it wasn’t drilled since they were a baby.
