Apparently I’m the only person in the country who doesn’t find the seasonal time changing to be problematic.
I like having the extra sunshine hours in the summer evenings, and having sunrise come a bit sooner in the winter. And I’ve never personally experienced any dramatically negative effects on the days when the time changes.

Nothing the US government is doing will end well.

Apparently Johnny Cash was a terrorist…

A lot of calls to a certain resort in Florida?

My kid has a part time job and is looking for another, but everything she can find wants you to be available for any shift at any time. All while not offering more than part time shifts with no guaranteed hours.

Gen X has all the money actually.
Do we? I hadn’t noticed.
And they got way richer during COVID.
Again, that’s not this gen-Xer’s experience. I (along with a lot of my co-workers) lost our jobs during and shortly after covid.

It’s more punitive than any practical thing.

I’m not certain that Russia is entirely America’s enemy any more.

No, I don’t think anything the Americans do with regard to trade negotiations will be done with sincerity. (Or honesty. Or in the interest of collaboration. )
But that doesn’t mean Canada doesn’t have some powerful cards that we can play. (Such as the return of the DST)

I expect to see it as one of the bargaining chips on the table during the upcoming Canada/US trade re-negotiations.
Complacent middle class, or rapidly shrinking and struggling to not fall further middle class?
