Following the last thread about some update of the description (https://lemmy.ml/post/3724195), I just wanted to point out that there only moderator we have has been unheard since 8 days (last comment was here: https://lemmy.ml/comment/2503991)
I opened a request on [email protected] 12 days ago, but nobody addressed it: https://lemmy.ml/post/3172834.
At that point in time, I just wanted to unpin that thread. I’m not even interested in moderating that community, I got a few others in the meantime.
I even questioned the usage of community_requests on [email protected] : https://lemmy.ml/post/3701125
Long story short, even if we were to have an agreement (which is probably not the case), we would not even be able to actually change anything for now.
Wasn’t this community moving to [email protected]?
Everyone should move away from lemmy.world, not to
I am out of the loop. What would be the reason for doing this?
Consolidating too many communities and users in a single large instance makes the fediverse vulnerable, not just to attacks, but also to poor decisions by the owners of the large instance, such as what happened with Reddit
No, especially if you look at the thread where the new mods wanted to move the community to their newly created community: https://lemmy.ml/post/1952461
Reception was not that good.
