    Ok but seriously, how did we go from trading shiny charizards in recess to having 72 genders? Not even trying to be rude about either, just genuinely, how is this a logic evolution of events?

      Marginalised people of all types and flavours tend to band together, from minor “everyone bullies me” nerds to “people are actively trying to kill me” trans people.

      If there’s anything nonstandard about you, you will notice it even subconsciously, even if it’s just hating windows, or something deeper like being trans, and end up gravitating towards communities that also go against the grain in some way.

        Literally this. I was like “why are there so many people with ADHD in my friend group” then boom. Then I was like “okay okay fine but why are there so many trans people in my friend group”. Well, here we are now lol

      No joke, I found that autistic and other ND people are more likely to not conform to societal norms and be open about themselves.
