Fully agree with a modern lens, but to be fair if there was one place I’d stand down a live range the Olympic pistol would be pretty high up there.

Are you kidding? For 250k, I’d stand down range for the whole of all shooting events at the Olympics.
Today’s athletes for shooting are probably at such a high level. Even if they did miss the target, it wouldn’t be by much.
