That’s the point I’m making. They’re too cheap for proper gaming.
Edit: Or more like prices are so out of control that $700 is no longer a lot of money for a decent gaming system.
The Steam Deck is absolutely strong enough for “proper gaming,” whatever that means.
4K 120Hz is my minimum acceptable standard these days, as I’ve stated earlier. 1080p120 minimum for handhelds.
I have a PC that can push 4k120, it’s overblown and a luxury if anything.
It’s not “proper gaming” unless your 1000W water cooled gaming rig is heating up your entire room to 100°, just to show you the latest in ray traced puddles /s
