I mean I still see comics from time to time from his that are amusing.
At this point I kind of just accept that all long running comics/web comics have some absolute awful arcs/panels. I think I assume it just comes with having to come up with content daily and they probably can’t spend a lot of time thinking about it?
Ctrl Alt Del was great when it was making jokes about games. Then after the year long home invasion arc, it turned into a soap opera and the core audience stopped reading it.
It certainly felt like it. I truly lost count of how many weeks went by while Ethan and Lucas were trapped in their apartment. It seemingly never ended, but it eventually gave Scott something to do (he was perpetually locked in his bedroom, presumably tinkering with his Arch build).
