Anon is a closeted bi and open femboy, and just doesn’t want to admit he likes it. Meanwhile, he’s totally fine being someone’s FB for free rent, but also feels guilty that he is kinda messing with his other friends in the meantime.

      Basically, Anon is a moron.

FB - Fuck Buddy, Friend with Benefits, or whatever you wanna call it. Someone who engages in regular sexual activities with a small group of people, usually just one, in exchange for some good or service. In Anon’s case, he’s a power-bottom femboy who gets fucked in exchange for free rent.

When they say femboy they mean that they are a trans man that doesn’t present itself as manly enough or a trans female that hasn’t transitioned that much yet?

In one of those cases being into dudes would be being straight.

No, a femboy is a feminine boy. They usually crossdress or at least dress androginously. They don’t necessarily want to transition or take HRT (although this one does).

Given that this one does, and that a trans person that wants to transition would refer to themselves as the gender they want to transition, they would be a trans male. However it’s 4chan and fake so I bet they meant a trans female, where being into dudes would be being straight.

He can still be an amab femboy and take hrt to become more feminine without transitioning to become a woman. He does not claim to be trans, just a femboy.

Does it matter why? Bodily autonomy means bodily autonomy for everyone, regardless of whether you “understand” or or not. If he wants to be a more feminized masc, is it hurting you?

People modify (“deal a huge blow to” in your words) their bodies all the time to fit certain preferences. Be it tattoos, piercings (including earrings), cosmetic surgery or even stuff like body building.

It is not that strange that people want to express themselves with their body.

Can’t give a general answer, but we can look to history. Consider the Castrati: removing the testicles before puberty prevented a boy’s voice from changing, giving them a high singing voice in adulthood.

It might be in this case, but I would not object for a trans man to call themselves femboy if they look like a feminine boy, since for all that matters to me a trans man is a man.

You may not object but that’s not how the word is commonly used. Anyone can call themselves anything, but for words to have any meaning we need to have a gentleman’s agreement about when and how to use them, which is basically what a language is.

Anyway, I’m just explaining the word’s conventional meaning. I have no interest in arguing with you as if I were some kind of linguistic prescriptivist.

I’ve heard from a few transfem lesbian friends that one of the hardest parts of coming out to themselves as trans was that it would also mean acknowledging they’re not straight, because if you’re someone who feels like you’re failing at being a man, attraction to women can be pretty grounding. “It was the one normal thing about me” - whole lot of internalised misogyny/transphobia/homophobia.

But that’s our assumption, it’s true that it might just be a dude that likes being feminine, no trans involved.

Quite right; labels like straight get pretty wibbly in situations like this. I find it sad because the current prevalence of homophobia and transphobia makes it hard for us to collectively understand what would it mean to be a cis-het femboy who takes HRT — for us to conceptualise of a world where that isn’t a contradiction. Bigotry makes it harder for people to explore their true selves, regardless of their gender or sexuality.

I agree with the sentiment, but the idea that a dude - particularly a young horny dude - isn’t going to cum with a fucking sexy whisper in his ear is crazy. Never even mind the Kinsey Scale, this seems to deny the idea of being horny.

In other news, my friend got me to try carrot in his meat and potato pie, and I was all “keep that orange shit off my plate” but he was persistent and I caved and tried it for the first time in a decade (with a big chunk of meat) and I didn’t hate it at all.

I shouted at him when he fed me “some kind of exotic shredded fruit peel cake, try it, it’s really moist and tasty” and when I liked it admitted it was carrot cake. I shouted a lot, and he just laughed at me and offered me another stupid delicious slice, the git.

So I think the lesson we all learned is that when I think I can’t possibly be persuaded to try something and that I find the very idea unpleasant, I might well be wrong. Quite, quite wrong.

So, Jamie, wherever you are these days, sorry. If I had my time over I’d give it a try. The internet agrees with your point about who gives the best head, and I hope you’re happy somewhere with some lucky guy who is indeed having the Jamie “I wouldn’t just blow your dick, I would fucking blow your mind” treatment. Seems stupid in retrospect not to have said yes.

You did say “call me when you’re drunk and horny enough”. Well, today’s that day, but I don’t have your number and there’s no way I’m involving our parents in a decade-overdue “Does Jamie want to come round to play?”

Once I did it with my right hand, but I’m left handed, if you know what I mean. You really notice the dick in your hand when you do it that way, I can tell you. I learned some things about myself that day. Things I didn’t tell my homies, despite them all having dicks that I had very much not been thinking about, but which must inevitably have similar fundamental characteristics.

          I’m confused

The word cisgender (often shortened to cis; sometimes cissexual) describes a person whose gender identity corresponds to their sex assigned at birth, i.e., someone who is not transgender.

If they’re taking hrt it sounds like they’d want to change their gender

Just as some AMAB (Assigned Male At Birth) men want to look more masculine and will work out at the gym or take testosterone supplements, some AMAB men are femboys and may temporarily take feminizing HRT to look less masculine.

Both are trying to change their bodies to better fit their gender identity, and femboy is clearly a different identity from gym bro, but they are both male gender identities.

In short: Femboy is about presenting as a very feminine man, men doing that can include trans men.

Slightly longer: It’s why there are different categories for sex, gender assigned at birth, gender identity and gender expression. A femboy would identify male and express feminine. The opposite is a tomboy, somebody who identifies as female and expresses in a masculine manner, both are not necessarily linked to the individuals sex and/or gender assigned at birth.

Trans refers to a different gender identity than the gender assigned at birth and doesn’t come into play here.
