Pretty sure my Calc2 prof pulled this trick on us sometime in the solids of revolution unit. Started deriving something on the board, just another cylinder ok, but wtf are you calling the radius ‘z’?
With area = A and radius = z:
Pi * z * z = A
Pronounced pie-zza
Radius not “r”, down voted
Pirra is less tasty
I don’t think so, a cold birra often goes well with pizza
“Pizzas are cylinders” was not the forbidden knowledge I was expecting today
“it’s a cylinder”
from a topological perspective, pizzas are also pyramids and cubes. from an enlightened topological perspective, pizzas are lines and points.
Did you forget about deep dish pizza?
Also, thin crust pizza is basically man trying to make pizza a circle instead of a cylinder, in defiance to nature.
pi.z.z.a
Wtf are those parentheses doing there.
I regret that I have but 1 upvote to give this.
I moved to Alberta like eight years ago and I’m still appalled at what passes for good pizza in this province. Someone told me it’s Greek influence, which explains why so many donair places are hailed for having the “best pizza in town”. To the average Albertan, it’s not good pizza unless the crust is five inches thick and incredibly dried-up.
I’ve finally found the 1 legit pizza place in the UK after 8 years, hidden in a tiny town.
There are lots if you know where to look!
