amiga fault never made sense to me… it was low-effort body horror and I’m not sure why 4chan venerated it. like why are people drawn to the holes? who cares who it was made for lol. and who made them? it’s stretched too thin to expect readers to feel involved in the horror AND continue with unanswered questions about the premise
amigara fault fucked me up because read it senior year of high school while dreading going to college because i knew i had to in order to fit in in society even though i didn’t really want to
college was the hole and i was not made for it 💀
(i did finally graduate after 7 fucking years at least. but i do feel very mangled.)
Our generation got shoveled into college by victims of propaganda who didn’t realize until far too late that it was a debt industry. I’m sorry you had to go through it.
Ito often works like Lovecraft, being drawn to something irrational you cannot understand is the whole point. It’s also heavily utilized in Uzumaki. The body horror is just the cherry on top.
The sensation is quite common for a lot of people, think of “l’appel du vide” (call of the void) or intrusive thoughts in general.
