A poll found 41 percent of adults under 30 consider the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson acceptable, more than the 40 percent in that demographic who consider it unacceptable. Anger o…
GOP hasn’t been pro-gun since before you or I were born. Just because they block (some) of the democrats dumbest gun-laws doesn’t make them pro-gun at all.
Yet they still block every single gun control measure that comes up. Have you really not figured out to ignore what they say and pay attention to what they actually do?

That’s not quite true: they selectively block gun control measures. For example: they put through the Mulford Act, a gun control measure, because black activists started arming themselves.
Named after Republican assemblyman Don Mulford and signed into law by governor of California Ronald Reagan, the bill was crafted with the goal of disarming members of the Black Panther Party, which was conducting armed patrols of Oakland neighborhoods in what would later be termed copwatching.
Both Republicans and Democrats in California supported increased gun control, as did the National Rifle Association of America.
They’re less “pro-gun” and more “we should have guns”, and I think that difference is important to emphasize in liberal society.
That’s an interesting take when the NRA can literally schedule a meeting with Trump or other presidents the next day. And which “dumbest” laws are you referring to? You mean things like not wanting people showing signs of mental instability to be able to run out an buy a gun as soon as they’re released from the hospital? Maybe you don’t like the idea of that short waiting period the first time someone buys a firearm? Perhaps it was the law that didn’t allow children to purchase guns (requiring parental consent)? I mean yeah, I can see how the non pro-gun GOP must have been appalled at those ideas.
Also, for curiosity, can you tell me what gun legislation the GOP has NOT blocked?
1994 “Assault” weapon’s ban, 1986 “FOPA” Act. That said pretty much any gun-control law that try’s to get around the 2nd amendment is “dumb” and supporting those kind of blatantly unconstitutional laws should get you banned from federal office for life.

Agreed, liberals are the worst.
Can’t get more braindead than “GOP isn’t pro-gun”
