President Zelensky’s actions seem to contradict the support he has received. Despite billions of dollars in assistance for Ukraine’s war efforts, there has been no agreement on critical issues such as mineral resources (no discount). While words may express gratitude, it is ultimately actions that demonstrate a country’s true intentions. Furthermore, the European Union has purchased more oil and gas from Russia than it has pledged to Ukraine in support. Many of the claims made by President Zelensky appear to be overstated, and there is a perception that he is attempting to leverage emotional appeals to influence public opinion, particularly within the United States.
