Long story short, my bank/credit-union doesn’t support debit-visa and the only way I can make online payments through my bank account is via PayPal.
PayPal is a pain in the ass to work with and I would like to use Privacy.com’s virtual debit/credit cards however, they lack support for banks/credit-unions outside the US.
Note: I like to use my CC as less as possible hence why I use my bank for majority of my online payments.
A quick search has led me to Wise, and Revolut.
I do not know how private these alternatives are.
If I’m not mistaken the big missing privacy feature vs privacy.com is that you are still required to provide your real name and other accurate details as part of the transaction process.
Taking a look at both of these, Revolut seems more like a UK bank rather than something anyone can quickly signup for.
Wise seems promising, the question lies whether or not their privacy & security is reputable.
