So, let’s say they figure this out, US takes the L and drops their tariffs, what Chinese company is going to want to be reliant on trade with US going forward?
I don’t think they are reliant on US trade anyway.
Of course they would rather trade than not trade, and losing the market would hurt, but only about 15% of China’s exports go to the US.
And it’s only 2% if the overall economy to boot.
China should demand that the US stop auto tariffs and the huawei ban. Also obviously no more funding terrorism and regime changes anywhere.
Let the grovelling begin.
