So, I just got done watching the new Captain America movie
Not sure if you’ve seen it, but there’s a really unintentionally funny scene where Capitan America and this white house security guard have to go to West Virginia for some secret military base to beat up some bad guys and get away in a car - They then cut away to a military base in Norfolk, VA, get out of the car, and the passenger asks, “what is this place?”
It totally took me out of the movie because I know how long that drive is and couldn’t stop thinking about how they didn’t bother explaining to the president’s body guard where they were going the whole time
Like, if you were the president’s personal security guard, wouldn’t you ask that question during the drive? Don’t you have places to be?
What an odd thing to say.
my headcanon is that sam blared the radio really loud for the entire four hour road trip and the security guard tried to initiate conversation multiple times but he pretended not to hear them
