That’s like 90% of what is doing, still weird to see promp stuff just kinda chilling in code.
It’s wild to just alter behavior with natural language lol. So much less annoying too.
Debugging natural language scripts has got to be a nightmare though. Not that debugging real code is any less of a nightmare, but at least you have decades of compiler/runtime development that gives you stack traces and stuff.
“It stopped working, I think we used a plural noun instead of a singular noun somewhere in this 3000 word prompt?”
Jesus Christ, why why why would you man in the middle your browser traffic and feed it to an LLM
Local LLM typically means self-hosted.
Because it’s a really good tool for analyzing patterns?

I cannot conceive of what someone would gain from essentially spying on themselves. What is an LLM going to divine from my browser history that I’m not already aware of?
I have a funny story about this. When I was a libertarian, anti-war, Ron Paul type in 08. There was saber rattling on Iran; so I was obssessed with details about an upcoming war. I came across an article about finding your browser profile in Google’s data management. I checked the info and it had me labeled as “Iranian”.
This is pointless.
It’s not really that different from why people keep a diary for example. We often don’t notice patterns about ourselves unless we record them.
The point of a diary is that the act of writing one requires you to engage in self reflection. A LLM completely bypasses this.
Having a history of your past behavior is useful for self reflection in a different way.
