Wait, for real? Is that an actual thing? I zoomed in trying to figure out what that is, and that was my conclusion, but I also concluded that I couldn’t possibly be right…

Yes! It was common to get your drinks in a bag in Mexico, especially if they were fresh-squeezed juice or chocolate milk from a street vendor. I’m not sure why it’s Coke in a bag in this one, but it’s not unusual.

Glass bottles have a deposit on them so in a lot of places in Mexico when you buy a soda the vendor will pop it open, pour it into a bag, and keep the bottle to get the deposit back.

Oh, I forgot about that! We usually get the plastic bottles now that Oxxo and 7-Eleven dominate the corner stores. And since I’ve stopped drinking soda altogether, the only bottles with a deposit I get are the caguamas. 😅

      Better question: why not?

My wife dresses like a 15 year old drug dealer and I love it. She does not look like a man she just don’t care. Because she doesn’t have to.

Stop gendering clothes and live a better life.

“Niños” can mean kids in general, regardless of gender. “Niñas” would be a group of girls (children). “Niños” can mean a group of boys (children) or a group of kids (mixed genders).
