    Depending on what you’d want to emulate, emulators can be very efficient on low-end hardware (i.e. gpSP for GBA).

        Inexpensive Bluetooth controller options are available to solve that problem too, though I was just suggestion the basics.

          USB-C controllers that plug into the phone’s charging port are also a good option. Just remove the protective casing and slide it in.

          Been emulating for years with it, but it’s also good for mobile games that do well with controllers. BackBone is the first one that comes to mind.
