I actually like Saleh, and I think he’s gonna do a good job. I’m not sure that he’ll be able to turn it around for the first game, so you may be right, but I think this may be a good hire for you long term.

I had a Super Bowl party at my house with a few family and close friends. When we went up 28-3, everyone was celebrating, and a friend of mine said, “It’s finally gonna happen, we’re gonna get a ring!” What I replied was prophetic and still haunts me to this day. “I’ve been a Falcons fan my whole life, I know not to celebrate until the clock hits zero.” As the wheels began to come off, everyone was yelling and losing their minds. Me? I just sat that still and quiet as it almost all happened in slow motion around me.
A little piece of me died that day my friend. We can win 25 Super Bowls in a row, but I don’t think I’ll ever get over that one.
