Y’know, gays are just normal people with a specific sexual orientation, and not all people make that sexual orientation their primary identity. Someone might be a swinger, but they don’t go around making that the first thing they want to be known for.

A person who happens to be gay, may think other things are more important to their personal identity, like their career, or their art, or their political perspective, and want those things to be what represents them to society, not their sexuality. Frankly, that’s how MOST people think. Very few people want their sexuality to be the first thing that others know them for.

As for gays being conservative working against their own self-interest? There’s no shortage of that, i.e. conservative minorities, immigrants, women, poor, sick, etc. Why are ANY of them voting MAGA?

The problem is that when a bubble pops and exposes the problem, the government leaders should take the opportunity to fix the problem so it doesn’t happen again.

Instead they bail them all out, so there are not only no consequences to their actions, they are literally rewarded with unimaginable wealth. What about this strategy would induce them to change their ways, over doing it all over again, and getting rewarded again?

If that’s really true, then we should all sign up.

Clarification:

The Pee Pee Tape purportedly shows Trump directing two underage prostitutes to pee on the bed that Barack and Michelle Obama had slept on when they visited Moscow during his presidency. This amused him greatly. What went on beyond that with the underage prostitutes is unknown, but we already know that’s his type. Now we know the kinds of activities that he finds amusing.

Except for many decades, certainly since WWII, much of that research was done by American companies, and now all that research investment may be lost. Sure foreign companies have an enormous opportunity here, but it will take significant time to replace all that American research.

And what happens to major studies that are already underway, and will now be cancelled because the funding is lost? Years of research down the drain, as they start over somewhere else.

Foreign companies WILL pick it up, but it delays the final results by a large amount, probably years. That’s years that lifesaving therapies will be denied to people who are suffering and dying…
