“Cheer up, it may never happen”
I’m sorry but if I’m not in a good mood or I’m sad it’s because something has happened to make me feel like it.
The only trick that worked for me was this.
Had been hiccuping for probably 5 minutes. Nothing working. Someone came up to me and just said “hiccup for me now” just waited for that hiccup. Kept asking for me to hiccup for maybe 30 seconds to a minute. Gone. No more hiccups.
Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 Can easily spend hours creating a park or that one coaster.
Tetris An easy pick up and play game but could also last a long time if you’re good.
Links Awakening (Switch Version) This has always been my favourite Zelda game and I’ve played the switch version at least once a year.
Jurassic Park. Those dinos beat many of today’s CGI films. Mixed in with the animatronic ones they just blend in so well. The story is simple (to quote Dr Malcolm) God creates dinosaurs. God destroys dinosaurs. God creates man. Man destroys God. Man creates dinosaurs. There are so many quotable lines, as shown just now, and the music is pretty unforgettable too.
Not sure if these would be unexpectedly high values as most people know they fetch a little bit, but I have all my old N64 games still boxed with most of the original inserts too. The one I know most would be Conkers Bad Fur Day, that always seems to fetch a nice price.
A couple of my Funko Pop figures are possibly worth a few hundred but nothing more.
And I have the full set of Hobbit and Lord of the Rings Lego sets which I know go for a bit over the original price.
I’ve seen people say that it’s being done over two parts as they’ve added quite a bit more from the book to this and it’s not just an adaptation of the stage show. I’d still prefer films like this to just be one film (you can push 3 hours) rather than splitting them up.
Wicked is my absolute favourite and I’ve been looking forward to this since I first heard about it. I do hope this has even half the success as the stage musical.
Two. Disney+ and WWE Network (UK so it’s still standalone). Always been a Disney fan so it’s a no brainier for me to have access to all the films and shows so easily. And the UK version has Star included so there’s other films to randomly find too. WWE Network is still the only way to go about it here, £9.99 a month (still, it’s never increased) and that pretty much is half what you would pay for the PLE each month. Plus NXT is now only on there in the UK so more than enough to justify the price for me.
Everything else I set sail for.
The information found in the patents has led to the presumption that a Nintendo Switch Mini, Switch Pocket, or Switch Micro handheld console is in the works. One focuses on button redistribution, with the home button and capture button being moved to the bottom of the device. Another patent goes further with button movement, placing the L, ZL, R, and ZR buttons in a line. Apparently, doing either of those things would produce a more compact Switch console (regular-sized model is currently US$290 on Amazon).
In yet another filing, magnets are used to attach a cover to the rear during gaming or onto the display for protection, which would be ideal for a Switch model that may be transported loosely in the pocket (more so than the current Lite variant). There is also a patent for a new cooling system, which the leaker believes is headed to the Nintendo Switch 2 but could also be viable for a Switch Mini. Last but not least, there is a filing that pertains to housing screw placement that specifically states “there is room for improvement in the design of portable electronic devices from the viewpoint of miniaturization of portable electronic devices”.
This is the main part to read. This is all based on a few patents that may not lead anywhere.
Freetube is a desktop program. I use it and it’s so much better than going to the YouTube page.
That video loaded fine for me just now. I have had similar issues though when I need to refresh a page once or twice to get it to load/play the video. It’s either hit and miss or maybe an issue when I load the page initially.
To own my own theme park in which the rides never break down so that everyone can enjoy it anytime.
£10 million. I think that’s more than enough to live off.
The ability to forget something at will so that I can experience something again for the first time.
Animal Crossing. I still play NH for 15 minutes a day just to go round my island and see what’s happening. My island is pretty much how I want it and I have collected nearly everything I want, but to take 20 minutes out the day just to walk around catch a bug or two and talk to an islander is a great way to relax.
I tried seeing if I could get it to fail. Nope. Even right in the corner of the screen it worked. Fun.
Met my current gf of 3+ years on OKCupid. Before that I had met up with maybe 3 matches. I wouldn’t have even called them dates as whist we chatted for a little bit it was just meeting up. Am still friends with a couple of people I met from there. But the majority of people would just either stop talking after a few messages or just never reply. I was also finding towards the later end of me using it just way too many scammer and bots. In the end I’d just mess with them if I could be bothered.
I actually like the look of this. I won’t get my hopes up too much after the other live action version but this does feel a lot closer to the original animated show.
Well this is going to be an interesting one to watch what happens. Nintendo seem to have an idea of the story and direction but I’ve never felt you could translate a Zelda game faithfully to a single film. Maybe using an original story will mean a slightly different approach. But the games are all about exploration and dungeons. I don’t see how classic dungeons would work in film, but I could see the smaller BotW and TotK type dungeons working. But then I don’t see a film where the hero goes to 4 of them, fights a boss in each and then goes to fight another boss in Ganondorf to work as great film. Maybe something very different is needed that will fit the film media for a Zelda inspired film.
Not exactly sure what I’d put this under, but The Descent. One of the only horror films to really give me a good shiver and make me feel uneasy. Maybe that’s down to the claustrophobic nature of the film.
The Doctor Who theme. Specifically the theme from David Tennents run.
I’m gonna say Jet Force Gemini. It’s not hard in that enemies or bosses are difficult, though some were. It was those damn Tribals. You had to save every single one of them if you wanted to beat the game, and some were a pain to save without them getting killed.
