Ukraine@sopuli.xyz•Two Russian Pilots Die after Ejecting into Shelter
6·1 month agoboth seats are ejected, some seconds apart from each other.
The look on the face of the second pilot as they see their compatriot yeet into the roof and realize what is about to happen to them: priceless.
I don’t get the Finland flag holder at the end?
I’m sorry, but russia is in fact real.

Wierdly, when I click on the link I get a ‘server cannot handle the request error’.
Regardless, I agree that it ‘acts’ like a legit account, but still think it’s sus as hell. That entry in the modlog is from today, but I’ve definitely handled similar accounts in the past, and seen others do so elsewhere.

Ukraine@sopuli.xyz•Vladimir Putin 'soiling himself' sends Russian president health fears into overdrive
14·10 months agoI understand the sentiment behind this, but FTR, the Hippocratic Oath is specifically towards patients: to treat them equally with the sole goal of improving their condition(s).
Hating on one particular doctor fulfilling their oath is misguided unless you want proving you’re worthy of treatment before any doctor will help you to become the norm.

Ukraine@sopuli.xyz•"It is a war against Europe and not just a war against the territorial integrity of Ukraine" — German Chancellor-in-waiting Friedrich Merz
631·10 months agoHonestly, he’s right. Data cable and infrastructure sabotage, assassinations, satellite communications jamming, and constant disinformation campaigns to spur a far right resurgence.
EU needs to start Tatting for russian tits. I would even go so far as to say they need to escalate until russia backs down before it is too late. The problem is civilians are too unwilling to support hostile responses. Happy to keep the peace no matter the cost until it is their turn to get invaded.

Ukraine@sopuli.xyz•The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 13.03.25
3·10 months agoYeah ‘food shortage not rising to full blown famine’ would probably be more accurate. There have been several severe droughts in the USSR/Russia since WWII that impacted food availability.
This chart shows the age distribution:

6·10 months agoBy your logic, Canada has twice the population of the US. This is obviously not the case.
Land area has little to do with population as you yourself eloquently show with the examples in your statement. The area’s culture, history, and environment are all more relevant factors for demographics. The USSR’s population was the hardest hit by WWII and their population ‘catch up’ hindered by frequent famines.
FYI if you use the link flag and place an ! in front we will see the image here without clicking.

21·11 months agoIt’s a fair point. I agree they would have attacked Zelensky no matter what, but IMO when Zelensky handed them their ass they fell back to core principles and so unsurprisingly resulted to classist insults.
Regardless, I’m really not that invested in the topic. My issue was the OP was hiding behind quotation marks instead of saying what they wanted to say and sealioning instead of explaining when people asked for clarification. My interpretation being so off mark itself shows an explaination was warranted.

22·11 months agoIf you don’t understand how criticizing not wearing a suit relates to working class I don’t think I can help you.
Going after someone for not wearing the right colour suit is similar in nature: ‘you are not one of us’.

Is this a translation error, or was this an official action that went ‘bad’?
