Still quietly asking myself why tf that is important. I need an OS to do a task, and I need it to be as easily configurable and as unobtrusive as possible. If I was into nursing an OS I’d have stayed with Windows.

There’s blue “Smurf” ice here, hmmmm ;-)
I tend to block folks who spampost the same content three to four (up to 50) times, as this messes up my All experience, then those weird nearly CSAM manga style posts, and the clearly Russian/CN spam farm users.
With that many users, don’t you think that app has never ever been uploaded to a site like virustotal?
Well, I’ve had to have a plumber clear a sewer incident in a multistorey building. Cause was a chicken ribcage and other chicken bones together with a ton of grease some idiot tried to flush. And to think I thought I’d seen it all…
If you love it, then just follow that feeling and leave. Thank you kindly.
go spread your stuff somewhere else? just a kind suggestion.
I found that this is also a sign of mental overload, probably PTSD. I KNOW I will have to interact with people, p.e. write a fucking letter, but my people interaction batteries are totally drained from work/kid/wife/whatever. For me it is a sign that my brain/self just can not do this task. Probably think about what general category your task falls in and think about that respective battery level. Might not help to do the task, but to get to know the reason to why not.
Sure. They did a test in Chernobyl, with an unexperienced operator. And the plant at Fukushima was there after all, warning ir no warning, so why in hell should that be safe? Ok, next one: Zaporizhzhia. Atomic plant as hostage in a conventional war. Safe? Maybe not, with that whacko as Russian president. They even blew the dam that basically provided the cooling water supply for the plant. Now downvote me again.
btw: Interesting read: https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c984l87l2w6o
Fukushima, Tchernobyl.
I’m from Europe, the stuff they have here is good. Was hoping you had one near you to check if they ship it over. Sry if I raised false hopes.
Did you check at Aldi’s or Lidl’s? Maybe they ship it over instead of selling the local stuff. Here its in little bags and lasts years unrefrigerated.
Was thinking same, packs from unsold leasing returns. But probably not so.
“In Germany, the term “Hochwasserdemenz,” or flood dementia, describes how quickly even people who were directly harmed by floods go back to behaving as though the floods never happened.” Learned a new term, as a German, ty!
TIL, ty. Always used a separate partition /home folder and plain reinstalled. Have to concede never thought of my personal machines as critical stuff is on a redundant Proxmox setup. Will try this out tonight, brain mush after work permitting.
One week inbound callcenter, one week outbound.
It was an interesting read I did not repeat.
Ty. Didn’t want to add “I’m using Debian, btw.”. Debian ticks all my boxes for ease of install, usage, updates, software availabiliy and - most important - stability.
