has the added benefit of potentially provoking them into getting themselves arrested if there are cops watching.
As long as the cops don’t sympathize with the nazis
“Government Efficiency Commission” run by Elon, nothing corrupt would come from that. /s
Alice Walton, one of the owners of Walmart "while speeding in Fayetteville, Ark., she struck and killed Oleta Hardin, a 50-year-old cannery worker. She never received so much as a ticket. "
I also choose this man’s dead wife.
Russia uses nukes in Ukraine to “win” the war. Now they control land that has large swaths that are completely unlivable and non-productive for farming. And the “livable” parts Russia would have to spend huge sums of money to re-build the infrastructure from the blast(s).
Even if the rest of the world let’s them get away with that (which I doubt they would) it doesn’t seem like a very good strategy.
Nixon lost the 1960 election to Kennedy in part due to how he looked during the first televised debate.
while I agree with you and would love to have policy be the main driver of people’s decisions, elections are unfortunately more about likability than policy for most voters.
You could see part of Harris’ teams strategy was to bait him with things to make him mad.
There was the statement about him losing 400 million dollars, the statement about other western leaders laughing at him, the rally size comment. Probably a few more.
If he was smarter he would have seen what they she was attempting and changed how he responded
“my plan goes to a different high school, you wouldn’t know her.”
You don’t have to if you don’t want.
But whether you like it or no rich entertainers like Taylor Swift get lots of media and views. Which parleys into influence and bringing attention to a candidate or an idea.
This is the reason why anyone that wants to grow a brand and/or an idea will try to get a celebrity to endorse it.
Edit: This doesn’t mean they know more than the average joe it’s all about marketing
I think this company has few different teams that work on the problem from different angles
Some are on the boats in the Pacific some are building interceptors in rivers in countries that are the largest producers of waste that makes it to the ocean. Of course they can’t fix the problem just slow it down. The fix comes from these countries changing how they allow garbage to be collected and stored.
from the site: “Discover a world of immersive and customizable soundscapes that can enhance focus, relaxation, and sleep. Choose from noise generators, nature sounds and ambient music to create your perfect audio environment.”
If that is the case, then it reads like California is solving the wrong problem.
If a person is undocumented due to their parents decision, then the federal government should make it much easier for them to become an American citizen.

Yet, somehow trump would be able to get away with it.
This is what fucked Bernie Madoff.
If this person had gone to VC’s with a pitch for ‘AI listening model’ with the explanation that “Now musicians can up load their songs to streaming services and AI will listen to make sure their pitch and tonality is accurate and that the beat is correct.” or some bullshit like that. Then it would have been ‘legal’
It boils down to good politics is boring and full of compromise.
Lot’s of talking and compromise doesn’t make for good headlines or scare motivate voters to the polls. There is room to add the large media companies to the blame of ‘perfection’ since they are always looking for the imperfect to talk about. And then they bash that imperfect-ness into the ground.
There are a lot of ‘content creators’ that pose as journalists.
There are journalists that do great work but since their stories can run counter to a narrative, it can be more difficult to find those articles.
seems greed likely started to drive everything, they pushed expansion over safety, and wound up killing people.
Thank god this is an isolated incident in corporate America. /s
Not online games but I’ve experienced this in other ways.
used to play in a ‘beer-in-hand’ kickball league. The game is played where you have to have always be holding a cup of beer (or water) while you are playing the game. It’s silly and fun and most people don’t take it seriously. Yet every season there was one team full of over achieving type A personalities that took it WAYYYYYY to seriously. Yelling at the refs if they feel they didn’t get a call right, yelling at the other team if they didn’t get the score right, being overall very aggressive. I swear they thought this was the Olympic tryouts or something.
No one liked playing that team, actually they were one of the main reasons that our group of friends stopped all together.
