Seefoo@lemmy.worldto Mildly Interesting@lemmy.world•Today, the Mexican Government introduced its new chocolate bar, priced at less than $1USD. Made of 50% cocoa, powdered milk, vanilla. No refined sugar, no artificial flavourings.7·9 days agoHe’s saying its likely got cane sugar, which is basically “less” refined sugar. It seems unlikely it has no added sugars and likely what they are trying to say is: it has no high processed sugars/artificial sweeteners.
Seefoo@lemmy.worldto PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•BioShock creator says "audiences reward" single-player games that don't have "other methods of monetization," like Baldur's Gate 3, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33English4·11 days agoI feel like owlcat has done a good job with this in their games. They feel complete and if you like the game there are DLCs with decent amounts of extra content. Also really like that the DLCs are integrated into the game (usually) and not just an extra chunk tacked on

You can opt out of the sale & sharing of said data, which is used to play you targeted ads when watching their free content. I am not a big fan, but this is the typical “free” TV spiel. Was there something that changed recently or is it just being recognized now?
Seefoo@lemmy.worldto World News@lemmy.world•Gaza’s youngest influencer aged 11 among children killed by Israeli strikesEnglish3·2 months agoI know we’re probably in agreement, but this is probably suicide. I think they pretty much shoot anyone near those border crossing/checkpoints that they aren’t pre-notified on.

Seefoo@lemmy.worldto Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•To join Facebook these days, one must record a video selfieEnglish2·2 months agoI am fairly certain it hasn’t got anything to do with “confirming you’re a human”. and probably with getting more data into their pipeline for AI training…among other things that they do. like sell your shit to a 3rd party
Seefoo@lemmy.worldto Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•To join Facebook these days, one must record a video selfieEnglish17·2 months agoPretty sure Instagram also requires something similar in some cases. I tried to make an account recently to see an artist’s full postings and it eventually asked me to verify I am a human by submitting a selfie picture. Abso-fucking not. It did “promise” they would delete it within 30 days…
Seefoo@lemmy.worldto Games@lemmy.world•Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy - Announcement TrailerEnglish1·2 months agoyea I think people where expecting a new DLC for it, but it seems they were also cooking up an entirely new game. Should be good, their CRPGs are always worth it (so far), even if they are not perfect.

With that said, Larian has delivered on their promise and that’s really a good example of how a AA/AAA title can do early access in a good and healthy way.
Seefoo@lemmy.worldto Games@lemmy.world•Former Dragon Age writer says Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Baldur's Gate 3 prove 'what's possible when a game is given time to cook'English1·2 months agoTrue, I didn’t really mean it to that extreme. and yea not saying gaming industry was perfect, there was plenty to gripe about in the past. Just on average, as a whole, the industry seems worse. The one exception I think are Indie games.
Seefoo@lemmy.worldto Games@lemmy.world•Former Dragon Age writer says Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and Baldur's Gate 3 prove 'what's possible when a game is given time to cook'English21·2 months agohonestly though, the game is a complete package AND it doesn’t come with a bunch of fucking microtransactions/live-service/etc. etc. Gaming is the one area where I think we would all like to see our games be made the same way they were 10-15 years ago, instead of the bullshit from today.

I am not sure woke is the insult its intended to be.

Legit confused on why you got down voted so hard. I am guessing people are confused by your comment, see the edit and decide to downvote you just because it feels right
