After playing CoQ with controller support I find similar games unplayably uncomfortable. It’s done so well that it’s shocking to look back at how the UI used to be and remember the game wasn’t designed from the ground up with controller in mind.

Just like with any kind of story, there are many readers who enjoy immersing themselves into a character’s experiences, and for that kind of reader fine details can be very important. Especially when the pleasure derived from said experience hinges almost entirely upon its inclusion. If you are glossing over the entire intimate act you can probably skip it. But in erotica, the intimate details are part of the point in most cases.

I’m with you on this. If I had a company that had their very own exclusive AI trained entirely off my company’s work, that would probably be the FIRST thing I mention when the topic comes up. I’d be pretty proud of that. The lack of mention is pretty damning.

From my perspective it was cartoony enough that I never really thought of it as scary but if you aren’t exposed to media like that often or it’s not culturally prevalent I could see how it might be good to adjust it for broader appeal.
