There’s no denying there’s at least a little bit of a christofascist imperialist aspect to a dude with “Deus vult” and Jerusalem cross tattoos and thoughts that leftists, progressives, and Democrats are the “enemies” of freedom and the US Constitution, and that there are irreconcilable differences between the Left and the Right in America.

My anecdotal experience, I’ve retreated away from popular social media platforms to more niche platforms like this. I want nothing to do with fake AI slop. It’s disappointing because I see my friends mindlessly consuming FB reels and TikTok slop for hours and hours and it’s like 40% AI from what I can tell. They just veg out on this slop for a concerning amount of time. I’ve tried to get them off that crap, but they’re addicted.

We had a wicked ice storm in the Midwest. Took out the power for the entire city for two days.
