I didn’t find it that easy to set up 😅
but I’m sure I would find it easier if I was more motivated e.g. saving $750 by setting it up 😅

ah yeah, I paid $50, not $750 😂

yeah but it removes the need for one in most use cases

It’s essentially a one time fee for an indefinite service of handling the vpn side of the setup.
I use Jellyfin on my local network and plex externally because I don’t know how to route specific traffic with openvpn on my phone and can’t be bothered switching it off and on when streaming things 😅
I’m not sure how it’s sustainable, and am surprised they still offer the life pass at all though.
I guess a lot of people buy it who don’t need it?
I still probably wouldn’t pay the current price for it though, I got it about a decade ago lol.
Oh also plexamp has a better UX than jellyfin for music, but I don’t think that alone would justify the current price.
look on the bright side: at least you came
me too, that’s why I use my tablet with an app that disables touch instead of the tv 😅

I think buying it on steam might do more to help, as at least then it shows up in sales statistics for the publisher and they might decide to fund a similar game in future if the stats tell them it’s viable…
I wouldn’t worry too much about it though tbh, if a game isn’t sold in a region you can’t expect people to buy it there 😂
the record, movie and games industry moguls put out a lot of propaganda to try to make people think piracy is a theft issue, but it’s actually an issue of access/convenience.
Could also be that nvidia adds fixes in the drivers for specific games, and then other games ended up with the same bugs later, or they add fixes during the development process when they provide “free QA”…

how you go about learning C++ probably has an effect too, as if you’re just running a program that initially uses 2kb of ram on a system that has 64GB or similar, you probably won’t notice if it has memory leaks unless you’re checking for that 😅

they have a lot in common, which is quite an indictment for altman…

The free market means the market is free to fuck you. Yes you in particular 😅

Not sure about the method: to me it shows people are more willing to give up when the computer appears to be broken.
I think the control group need to experience a similar computer service failure, but maybe just swap out the ai for a basic calculator tool, or a pdf with formulas or a cheat sheet or something 😅

Or maybe you’ll need to get a bot to do the captcha for you… 😅

They don’t just leave it to the professionals though: there’s always a lot of interest in any aircraft crash investigation which helps drive the motivation to employ all the professionals that make it safe.
