Nintendo never really did complicated. Can’t imagine them doing a battery warning with features you can turn on/off.

If that was the case though, I would have expected them to have announced it already 🤔. Nintendo doesn’t strike me as the kind of company to show their hardware to the press long ahead of announcement.
Would be a bit weird as they own GOG.
Showing it to devs/publishers I can understand. Why would they be showing it to press though?
Tencent…
That’s all I needed to know.
Ah, thanks for the correction.
Isn’t this a GDPR requirement if enough time passes without account activity?
How do you know if you like them if you haven’t tried them 😋?
We’ll, excuse me 🤣…
I don’t tag them with anything.
I think this is what the commenter above is getting at. You say you want to play the game, but “dnf” means “did not finish” which alludes closer to just checking it off a list.
My list is basically my library. I only buy games if I want to play them (I don’t bother redeeming free games if I don’t intend to play it). That said, just because I want to play a game doesn’t guarantee I end up enjoying it. The great perhaps is one such game. Thought it was for me, didn’t enjoy it, so won’t bother finishing it.
My backlog consists of games I’ve bought because I want to play them. But because there’s always something on offer I end up buying more than I can get through. So this will be a way to stop myself spending money when I already have enough games to get me through to the end of this year. If I find I’m not enjoying one of them, I’ll mark it “dnf” and hide it from my library. So I’ve absolutely no plan to play a game if it turns out to not be any fun.
Yeah, im going with this one. Even if it takes a company a total of 5 hours work to wrap an old game in an emulator and release it on steam, it’s not going to be worth it when only 5 people buy it.
I really miss this genre. Makes me sad to see what Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six have turned into. Back when I was playing Rogue Spear, I never thought I’d ever see team Rainbow fight aliens!
Was really pleased to discover that the original Ghost Recon on GoG runs really well. Was also able to get their copy of the original Rainbow Six to work after a bit of tinkering.
I just switched to only buying games on GoG. Yeah, i dont have the same selection and miss out on a lot of games, but there are enough quality games on GoG to fill my backlog.
Yeah, but it doesn’t seem like he actually said that if you read the article.
So what games do you like?
CDs in current gen physical copies aren’t really much more than a license to download anyway considering many require a gigantic day 1 patch to play. So the CD doesn’t really give you anything anymore (except I guess you could lend it to a friend).
The bar is so low now…
I get people preferring one platform over another. What I don’t understand is platform loyalty/tribalism. It makes no sense. Just enjoy your games!
