This and some citations would’ve made this a really valuable article. Hopefully this idea will get refined a bit with better support.

I do feel like by episode 6 of season 2 it seems to hit its stride, but the first half does a lot of gesturing at things you might remember from New Vegas without interacting with them much imo.

This makes so much sense in retrospect. It wasn’t until the last ten years my (admittedly very sensitive) eyes started bothering me while using a computer. I’m in dark mode, yellowed display, brightness all the way down, and it’s like staring into the sun for me.
