News@lemmy.world•The Trump administration demands American press propagandize his Iran warEnglish
49·21 days agoHe’s such an obviously stupid guy.
He could’ve easily manufactured propaganda to sell this this war to his own base (some dumb shit about freedom and stuff like that) and they would’ve lapped it all up like all the shit before, but he’s just too dumb to even do that.
He might’ve even be able to get some democrats on his side with the right messaging, but he’s just dumb as fuck.

I do hope he continues with the anti-NATO rhetoric so that Europe is pushed further into the direction of making an EU Army. Inshallah

News@lemmy.world•Trump draws backlash for comment on Iran war: ‘Maybe we shouldn’t even be there’English
722·23 days agoGod, I’m so sick and tired of all the anglo mass-media slop and their disgustingly manipulative and clickbaity titles.
I cannot wait for the day when this shit gets banned.

Canada@lemmy.ca•Canada: Two charged in killing of Iranian-Canadian dissident Masood MasjoodyEnglish
32·24 days agoIts such a pity that Iranians don’t get peace from their Islamist oppressors not even in western countries.
Its all true
Okay, I’ll bite.
Give me your source according to which 13% of women in USA literally cannot read or write.
And don’t give me literacy levels, that’s not what your post says. It explicitly says that 13% of Usaian women can’t read or write. Give me that source. Let’s see it.
It explicitly says “87% of women can read and write”, meaning that 13% of USA’s women literally can’t read and write.
That’s so stupid that I’m inclined to believe that whoever made this is functionally illiterate.
You don’t need to lie about shit to make USA look bad. Plenty of things to say that shows how bad USA is.
And definitely you don’t need to gargle the balls of an Islamist regime to make Usaians look bad.
Utter slop. The AI is a “nice” touch too. Gag.
Also a very obvious lie. There no chance in hell that in USA there are 13% of women (22 million women!!!) who literally cannot read and write.
This post is just slop, lol.

News@lemmy.world•Iran appears to have conducted a significant cyberattack against a U.S. company, a first since the war startedEnglish
62·27 days agoIt’s too quick an escalation.
I’m sorry? They’re okay with bombing US bases and kill soldiers, but cyber attacks against government websites is one step too far? They’re bombing shit left and right but hacking some Usaian company is too much?
Sorry, that really doesn’t track.
A more feasible explanation would be that this is the best they can do right now. I really don’t see any reason why they would hold back.

World News@lemmy.world•Italian base in Iraqi Kurdistan hit by missile, defence ministry saysEnglish
3·27 days agoIts not about what Italy did, its about what Italy can do. The Islamic Regime’s aims now at hitting whatever they can hard enough so those countries put pressure on USA/Israel to stop their aggression (but not hard enough for those countries to figure out that its a safer bet in the long-term to join with USA/Israel and attack Iran)
At least, to my knowledge, that’s what it seems to be happening.

News@lemmy.world•Iran Makes Veiled Threat to Trump: 'Be Careful Not To Get Eliminated'English
193·28 days agoTrump is 100000000000000% more likely to die from eating yet another McBurger in the next 24hrs than he’s to be assassinated by the Islamic Regime from now to the end of his natural lifespan.
Also, to people who’d view that as a positive because hurr durr Trump (I get it): that would lead to President Vance with a mandate to wage a war of revenge. The whole political discussion would suddenly shift from all the damage that Trump has done to USA, to destroying Iran, with a high possibility of giving more strength to republicans.

World News@lemmy.world•Mother of Iranian footballer pleads for her to stay in Australia, saying 'they'll kill you'English
202·28 days agoMom was willing to suffer or die just so her daughter could live in relative freedom.
The worst part of it all is that even though she changed her mind in order to protect her mother and family, its meaningless. The Islamist regime will still hurt or possibly kill them simply for the fact that she dared defy them in one instance, they will not allow them to go unpunished.
here bodegă means a cheap, low-quality and often run-down bar/pub, I think that’s close to its original meaning - wine cellar/warehouse. How did USA go from that to corner shop, I wonder

World News@lemmy.world•Exclusive: Saudi Arabia prepping 'huge deal' for Ukrainian weapons amid Iranian drone threatEnglish
6·28 days agoI’m almost willing to bet that he thinks Saudi Arabia is USA’s enemy.
If the US wanted to boost trade, economy, and stability of the environment and peace in the reigon, and actually help the people of Iran
USA/Israel don’t care about the Iranian people, that’s merely a propaganda stunt.
Furthermore, India, North Korea and even China trade and help Russia in its wars.
An open conflict with China is undesirable by both parties almost in equal measure. NK is already sanctioned up the ass, an open conflict would lead to a conflict with China. And I would like you to notice that India is being gradually weaned off the Russian teat, so to speak. Take a look at India’s trends in regards to defense-related imports. Its not a process that started recently, but almost a decade ago. They used to get +65% of their shit from Russia, but in the present that number dropped to 40% and they’ve been replaced by France and Israel. I have a hunch that these numbers will continue to lean geopolitically west-ward.
India buying of Russian oil has been deemed as an acceptable cost, as they value India’s resources more - and India’s greatest value is people, they have a lot of those. Cheap labour for western capital.
Hence the “mother of all deals” that was recently signed.A genocidal aparthied and oppresive family dictatorships are considered US allies by your standards?
I’m sorry. Are you new to the whole USA business?
Oh its not about the nuclear stuff, I don’t think even the Trump admin believes that shit, even though they lie about it. I mean it from a military point of view and geopolitically.
Israel, USA and USA’s partners in the area (Middle East) stand to gain because the Islamic regime is the one financing opposing factions in the are.
And on a larger scale, USA and USA’s allies stand to win because the Islamic regime is the one actively aiding Russia in its war of conquest against an European country - for how many months/years now … 3 years? 4 years? I lost track. Anyway, for a loooong time they have sent thousands upon thousands of drones to bomb Ukraine.

Political Memes@lemmy.world•Mission accomplishedEnglish
185·1 month agoOk, but this says that the google search for “Epstein files” died on 18 of february, 10 days before USA/Israel started the attack. So the war is not about the Epstein files, which I agree with. It is about USA’s foreign policy.
It is in the interest of USA and Israel to severely damage the Islamic regime of Iran.
It is in the interest of western allies to help or be quiet about the attacks and not to raise too much of a ruckus about it.

Oh yeah, any NATO member who does not limit the outflow of critical military information to China should be treated as a pariah by other member states, it is a grave security risk.
