My guy, you can’t drop these claims without telling us who! Lego are so expensive, I’d love some supposedly higher quality alternatives.
I’ve heard the morgue one before, but I heard it as, “You stab 'em, we bag 'em!”
Counterpoint, I’m trying to find a good bot to be a matchbot for a community I made. It’s more effort than I have time to devote to posting a Pre-Match, Match, and Post-Match thread to the community with lineups, match events, and game summary. I wish a bot could take care of that so I could simply comment on the game in each thread.
I just spent $20 of it on Sync for Lemmy. Well worth it.
Yeah this has to be my number one criticism at the moment. It’s a bit of a catch 22: you want a steady stream of quality content, so you subscribe to multiple communities of the same name so nothing falls through the cracks, and then posters post to multiple related or same-named communities so nobody misses it 🤷♂️
My initial reaction was to laugh, but honestly, after further thought, I could see myself getting hooked on a game of this nature.
Surprised I had to scroll this far to see Photopea. It’s a fantastic alternative to Photoshop, and it’s accessible on nearly any platform since it’s web-based.
You can certainly block communities in Lemmy – I’ve done that plenty of times. However, I don’t think wefwef supports that yet, as I’ve looked all over and haven’t found it.
EDIT: I need to amend this and clarify that it’s Connect for Lemmy that’s been allowing me to block communities, instances, and users. I hope all apps included this feature.
Honestly, as long as it’s been shown to be sanitary, I’m so for recycling. Imagine throwing out all that barely used soap? What a waste.
It’s funny. Seeing this post was the catalyst for me to finally set Firefox as the default browser on my phone and start using it daily. Going to set it up on my work laptop tomorrow too.
