…the RV means I rarely stay in hotels…
Every day I love my RV more and more.
I had to google it…I think he’s referring to the Burning Man term for “Matter Out of Place”. So I think he’s agreeing with you that this link doesn’t belong in this community.
I would add, to the first 2025 entry, that Bondi said there was a list, and it was on her desk for review in February.
I kind of enjoy the times that Maga realizes they’re being lied to.
Now he is pushing for tariffs against Russia. And he finally seems to be figuring out that Putin doesn’t want to stop trying to conquer Ukraine…a point the rest of the world understood immediately…years ago.

If a doctor is always going to check it, what’s the value of the AI?
Maybe they were busy with actually important things?
What?
Sometimes that little thing is the straw. You’ve had a rough few days, all kinds of twists and turns, but hey you have a relaxing weekend coming up to recharge, so you held it together, then that little thing happens and it’s like “ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh fuck!”
That little thing, by itself, probably wouldn’t matter that much…but on top of everything else, it’s a different story.
Was the TV just resting on that ledge?
I know. Stop worrying about your computer and install Debian! It just works. It updates without a problem.
When I install a new application, I generally run it immediately. Having the new indicator might be nice to help find it - they don’t always drop into the menu where I expect.
I agree, I can’t see why it upsets the author so much. “You’ve installed a new app, here it is.” “YYYEEEAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHH!”
The other night, a cat was laying on our front porch while I was walking the dog. I took a bowl of water out for him but he took off before I got anywhere near him. He lives with a colony at a horse farm near us, so he’s fine, probably, but I wanted to be certain.
So I bought a kettle bell yesterday. I can definitely feel it, we’ll see if it helps!
I “grew up” with Slackware, so I definitely understand the dependency issue.
I like flatpaks (and similar) for certain “atomic” pieces of software, like makemkv. For more “basic” software, like, say, KDE, I want it installed natively.
One of ours sometimes does that. He often sleeps on my feet at night, and usually I can move some without getting attacked, but sometimes he does claw me.
The new Ross Perot!
And yes, this is all deeply undemocratic.
Agreed, and it’s worth noting the Republican party has done the same thing to candidates who weren’t far enough to the right.
Yeah, exactly. So great to be able to say, oh, she’s about 15 minutes away, so I’ll start making dinner. Much easier and safer than texting while driving, too.
We originally set it up so she could make sure I wasn’t laying in a ditch somewhere from a cycling crash.
