They’re just weird in general, I remember when they invited Achievement Hunter to show off some new game content for GTA V and they got upset by the swearing

This is awesome!! I was really missing that feature since switching to graphene.

Even if we migrate to something else and “delete” the photos from the cloud Google still has them, I’m sure they’re training with them either way. Why wouldn’t they when no AI companies ever seem to face any consequences?
I will start just using Immich from now on though

As far as I have read they do a lot to prevent that. AI “artists” (shartists?) don’t show in the all tab when searching, don’t get added to radio mixes, and dont get any payments from Deezer. Their AI generated tagging seems pretty accurate, I just wish it was exposed in the API so other projects could use it

Yeah I honestly think its best to just let people offer up that information if they’re interested in sharing it, which they often do after talking to them a few times. I don’t get asked questions like that but I do get questions about other peoples ethnicity which I find pretty annoying, like “are they from China” or something like that. I’m like I have no idea they’ve never mentioned it

Same, but I really hate the name

That’s a great idea, love that you included encryption support and the limine bootloader

Does the jailbreak allow you to use z-lib or Anna’s archive as the “store”?

I just did that yesterday, definitely a more involved setup but I really like it so far. I wanted to ditch systemd for a few reasons but this recent news finally gave me the motivation.

Yeah unless there’s a really specific reason to use invidious, Smarttube is the way to go. Anytime I’ve had an issue there’s an update that fixes it right away

Who are we missing, Claude?

I was looking for something like this, thank you kindly

I went to the Verizon store to buy an iPhone when the droid first launched, the rep said “you don’t want that phone, check this one out” and showed me the droid. So glad I didn’t get roped into that ecosystem.
I still miss CyanogenMod dearly…
Protontricks makes it much easier to tell which steam folder is which game, but its still annoying

Helix is my favorite, it does everything I want a text editor to do and it’s much more intuitive than vim/nvim. I was never a power user of either so I’m sure it’s missing plenty of functionality that nvim users are used to but it’s perfect for my use cases.

The sentiment I keep seeing is that it’s vibe coded, though the dev claims that AI was used but not in any core components. It’s one I’ll be waiting out personally, the whole huntarr situation has me pretty skeptical of any new projects

Yep they will all sue for the tariffs, not distribute it among their customers, and not lower prices. Maybe Costco will actually do the right thing but who knows
Then keep using Plex. You can’t use tailscale on a Roku because Roku doesn’t allow it, you have the most locked down, unmodifiable streamer out there. Almost any decent modern router or android based streamer can run tailscale. Even Apple TV with its notoriously closed off ecosystem can do this. If you’re attached to Roku for some reason then keep using Plex. When it’s time to upgrade hardware look for options that are more open.
