I found it preferable when I started exclusively using the keyboard and keybinds. Tho I ended up using a TWM so I’m definitely not the target audience lol.
Huh? But I use Libretube everyday.
I can acknowledge all that and still say fuck discord. I never mentioned herding everyone over, I just explained why I think it’s a parasite and why I have a strong disliking towards it.
Idk about them, but it’s a centralized, locked-down service that absorbs and holds information and data hostage like tomorrow.
As someone who’s trying to completely avoid Discord, it’s quite frustrating how many communities and projects will put important information in their Discords, and nowhere else. You have to have an account to see it, and it also isn’t searchable in a search engine. It is actually quite terrible for pretty much everyone.
Element/Matrix lets you peek into public chats and servers/spaces without an account, so it can definitely be done. They won’t do it though, because they gotta make you feel dat FOMO lol.
I am a simple man. I see anime rice, I upvote.
Mother 3. I really don’t know what else to say, this series impacted me so much in my youth and I wish I got to experience it raw.
Dang, this looks pretty awesome. Too bad it would probably suck for manga.
As an American who has to hear about shootings pretty consistently, I’d like to say the fear can be pretty justified. I don’t really know what it’s like to live in a world without guns and their presence, so it’s hard to imagine life without the necessity of them to protect yourself. It’s just one of those things that’s hard to understand unless you’ve lived in it I guess.
Ahhhh, okay. Definitely not what I’m after but I’m glad the middle ground exists for most people who aren’t insane lmao.
I will argue on the better connected parts bit though. Most apps designed for TWMs are intentionally very generic, minimal, and simple, making them blend together very nicely. Especially if you theme them, which is very easy to do in most cases.
What are the benefits to this instead of a TWM? Just curious since I’ve been seeing a few people singing it’s praises, and wanted to know why I’d use it over a traditional TWM.
Honestly all I want is a Steam Deck Mini. Fuck bigger and more powerful, I want a small indie/AA game machine that’s easier to carry around and use as a handheld outside of the house. The Steam Deck has been primarily a bed machine for me.
Yeah, this and Koreader are the ones I was referring to. Sorry for not listing anything.
Kobo devices are the way to go. Easy sideloading, multiple FOSS operating system alternatives, and generally they’ve got some nice n’ cheap options.
I genuinely mean no offense, but what did you rice? I don’t use MacOS much so I find it hard to actually see what is changed from standard MacOS.
AntennaPod and Podverse are both really good.

I just check my Nix.config, but most distros don’t have that privilege.
Idk how it works for most other distros, but I know on Arch you can check all packages manually installed by pacman and your AUR helper.
It was mainly the search, it was a ghost town for Masto content and accounts. Maye that’s still a WIP, but finding accounts I want to doesn’t seem easy.
He shouldn’t have to, the point is read before commenting about a clickbait headline. If he has to spell it out that only furthers his point.
