No idea but there are new and exciting torrent technologies being worked on all the time. Things like DHT nodes or turning off anonymous mode can affect speeds. Your other clients may have different settings enabled or disabled or may not have implemented new protocols.

Almost all companies involved in manufacturing have been making items more disposable or harder to repair for years (see phone, cars, computers, TV’s and almost everything else you can buy) to encourage people to buy new and bring the profits back to base.

A farm equipment company can’t afford to be known for disposable equipment. Instead, they tried to make it impossible to work on the equipment without special computer equipment, so you’d have to book a technician to do something as simple as an oil change.

Not sure where you’re based but in my country you can buy a prepaid Visa cards that work the same as a normal debit card. Just get someone else to buy it for you using cash, use it to buy crypto.
