I get why Kamala wouldn’t want him in the administration, but did she even consider it? Like… his housing policy wasn’t bad. Let’s say he brought 3% more voters. That could have been significant. 3% could definitely help beat Kamala with a race this close. I don’t like the guy… and honestly, despite it not being his fault I just can’t stand listening to him speak. I’m wondering now if Trump is actually going to kick JD to the curb.
I guess… its a possibility, but very unlikely that Democrats would vote for Trump cause she was having conversations with him. Democrats talk to Republicans all the time and don’t lose votes. Sometimes you have to even work with people you don’t agree with… Imagine that.
Think more down the line. Having a 3% middle man would be rather annoying, because whatever the other parties come up with needs to be approved by the 3% over and over, to make a majority, making the 3% the most powerful position.
They are nakedly admitting that they will drop out because they are inexplicably pulling more GOP votes than DNC votes.
There’s two options that we’re looking at,” she said. “One is staying in, forming that new party; but we run the risk of a Kamala Harris and Walz presidency because we draw votes from Trump. We draw, somehow, more votes from Trump.
“Or we walk away right now and join forces with Donald Trump; and we walk away from that and we explain to our base why we’re making this decision… Not an easy decision.”
The fact that they were very clearly running to spoil Dems is a good reason not to offer them powerful positions in a Harris admin.

There’s something wrong with him. Clearly any sane person would avoid that situation.
He potentially could’ve caused LOST votes if she took him in. He is very unpopular.

3% is basically the lizardman constant. You can’t assume that voters will so readily jump from one candidate to the other.
3% is significant. He had like 8 or 9% prior to Biden dropping out. I know he can’t sway all his voters and so that is why I suggested maybe 3%.
The will write in the Lizardman with extra commas to make it official.
