Not one Republican has said anything like “If Harris changes her position on X I’ll support her.” Instead they have said things along the lines of “Donald Trump is a danger to our country. I’ll vote with my enemies before I vote for this guy who has literally said the Constitution should be suspended.”

Allies on the single issue of preserving democracy doesn’t make them interchangeable or even friends.

The not Glenn Greenwald guy on System Update had a pretty epic own on Chris Murphy by just asking him “Can you name any foreign policy differences between Kamala and Cheney?” And Chris Murphy goes “Well she wasn’t for the Iraq War!” And not Glenn Greenwald goes “She wasn’t a national figure back then, do you even know that for certain?” And Chris Murphy just runs away basically.
