You know as well as I do the 14th is very vague and up for interpreting what a traitor is. The partisan Supreme Court already decided he’s not a traitor. Let it go already.

The 12th is not vague and would need a super majority to override.

And you know as well as I do that my point is: the law doesn’t apply to trump.

The only justice that might catch up with him is a heart attack from all the hamberders, but if that doesn’t happen by 2028 the supreme court will find some excuse for why he should be able to get a third term and approve it with a 6-3 vote

Supreme Court does not create laws. They interpret. When the law says “But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States,” there is nothing for them to interpret. It’s there in black and white.

The point is if they do not care, they wouldn’t even bother to pretend. He’d just stay in office or run again.

The dance of running as VP doesn’t make any sense as either they don’t care and it’s not necessary, or they do care and that’s not a loophole that exists.

Besides, IIRC Kanye and Trump had a falling out over a suggestion that Trump would take a backseat to Kanye in a campaign. Trump won’t settle for even the appearance of ‘second place’.
