Same beef with Jackie Brown… lots of long, slow shots of Pam Grier walking. We get it, Tarantino’s a foot guy, and Grier does have gorgeous legs… but come on!

There’s no stamina required, they haven’t had to speak and hold the floor for decades now. All they do is call a filibuster and that’s it.
It only takes 51 votes to remove that unconstitutional rule, but neither side is willing to do it because they want to use it when they’re in the minority.
A reasonable compromise would be to make it like it was in the old days, anyone wanting to filibuster must speak and hold the floor for as long as they can.
Mom is suffering from shrinking family syndrome (people keep dying) and so she wants everyone home for Christmas, but TBH, I’m not confident either my wife or myself will be fit to travel by then so… 🤷♂️
