Finland is named the happiest country in the world for the eighth year in a row, according to the World Happiness Report 2025 published Thursday.
Other Nordic countries are also once again at the top of the happiness rankings in the annual report published by the Wellbeing Research Centre at the University of Oxford. Besides Finland, Denmark, Iceland and Sweden remain the top four and in the same order.
Country rankings were based on answers people give when asked to rate their own lives. The study was done in partnership with the analytics firm Gallup and the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network.
When it comes to decreasing happiness — or growing unhappiness —the United States has dropped to its lowest-ever position at 24, having previously peaked at 11th place in 2012. The report states that the number of people dining alone in the United States has increased 53% over the past two decades.
You can’t utter a single opinion, yet you’re too stubborn to just tuck your tail and run away, as you do from the subject at hand.
This is exactly why I brought this up. To make someone like you come and challenge it and then prove how wilfully ignorant of an authoritarian sycophant you are. Not like I haven’t explained it literally a couple of dozen times already, but you like to pretend, because you can’t admit to yourself what a coward you are. Paskahousu.
Tell me a single opinion of yours of what you think happened to me based on the photos and the story provided. Anything. Call me a schizophrenic who faked them with AI or something, I don’t care. Give me an opinion of yours. Show me that I’m not totally right in that Finns are actually culturally so emotionally stunted that it genuinely affects the cognitive capacity. Please, man. I have no faith anymore in Finns, and your pathetic bullshit is just re-enforcing that view. Grow some balls and prove me wrong and address the subject, no matter what your opinion. As long as you fucking have one.
As a courtesy I just wanted to say that I’m not reading these anymore. This discussion hasn’t served any purpose for quite a while. So I’m peacing out and looking forward to have this discussion again next year
