I personally think uncut is better as it looks more natural, and is probably better for bees and other insects. The flowers and other weeds that grow make it look nicer as well.
I don’t think cutting a lawn is that bad as long as its not done too often, though.

I prefer my bread pre-cut. my hair cut low, and my trees un-cut.
Bread in whole loaf so it lasts more than 24h, large hand-cut slice feel better, and a minor inconveinience anyhow.
Do not over cut grass, it’s time consuming, feels artificial, and is bad for insects

Pretty sure straight up grass is not all that great for most critters regardless. I know some folks mention that all clover is actually decent since it doesn’t grow all that high and is still good for insect life.
I’d say I usually prefer cut. Otherwise its length becomes completely unmanageable. I don’t have all night to watch only a single film, y’know?

Uncut is known and loved, but I’ve heard an argument that the lore is tighter in certain edits. I don’t remember the details though.
I just know that saruman’s death was cut out on the theatrical release and was pissed. Like, that’s kind of important isn’t it??
I find my uncut wood a little too big to fit in the fireplace, so I think I will say cut.

Uncut. Those pre-sliced sheets are handy, but they’re either too big or too small for the present you’re wrapping, and you end up wasting more.

Well, my mind is in the gutter I guess. Yards, I like a balance. Wild in defined spaces; food garden without weeds; open yard is literally mowed weeds, not too short. Flower garden has some weeds. We get lots of bees and butterflies with this scheme.

I’m bald anyway so it doesn’t really matter, cut or uncut, it’s all the same.
Well there is a segment of length, where the length of uncut has more disadvantages than cut. But this is outweighed by the advantages, once a certain threshold is reached.
