This checks out. You sound EXACTLY like me when I was 29 and an insufferable know-nothing piece of shit. Now I’m embarrassed for both of us.

I’m 38. I used to think like you. Then I realised it was a business not a person and my boss wasn’t my friend, and that I should be getting more for less.

I basically aim to job hop for promotion. I work for large organisations, which enjoy economies of scale. And thus they are able to pay me more than my previous boss earns, who was a small business owner.

I’m not naive. I don’t ask for promotion or anything. They either give it to me or they suffer brain drain.

The biggest cost my organisation suffers is looking for and training new employees.

This is all great, for you, if you want to live your life like this, but I don’t understand why you think that this should be standard.

Doesn’t have to be standard, go work 32 hours. If everyone follows you then you have what you want.

If all of you collectively decide to work less, then that’s simply the reality.

Great for me, my labour becomes more valuable as it just became more scarce.

Why are you against doing less work for the same money?

You don’t really understand how it works…people are more productive for working 32hoyr weeks.

I’m against wages to begin with.

If people realise they produce more in 32 hours than 38 hours then they will stop working 38 hours.

                  Just abolish wages.

So how do people pay the mortgage?

I’ve also seen you say you think people should be contractors. So you’re against workers rights.

There are many ways to for people’s lives to be made better, and increase productivity, but apparently that’s not the intention, it seems employers would rather have you shitting it.
