The pregnancy is recent, so it’s not like I stayed with her because of a child.

A lot more than this post. Can you make it make sense? Why would I spend so many resources for someone I don’t love? I can kill you and I wouldn’t care one bit. But still, I spend 6 years for someone else and am willing to work endlessly for the benefit of her. Why is that?
