James McAvoy for me. X-Men first Class, Split, Speak No Evil, even Victor Frankenstein. If MCavoy’s name is attached to it, I’m probably going to see it. Charlize Theron is next. Mad Max: Fury road, Monster, and Kubo. Old guard… she acted her heart out, but it was okay in the end. (First post)
Al Yankovich
Catherine O’Harra, Tilda Swinton, Gary Oldman, John Malkovich, Tom Hanks
Actors who always commit to their roles! It’s always a pleasure to see them, especially when you see them go from very serious to comedy in various parts. Tom Hanks was fantastic in the 80s when he was comedy but he seems to do more serious roles since then. Also why Saturday Night Live skits can be awesome when such actors are guest starting.
Anna Karina and Christian Bale do it for me.
Charlize Theron - one of the best actors in the world IMO. If you disagree watch Monster.
Gary Oldman
Maybe Chris Pratt
John Cleese
Charlize Theron
Lately Millie Bobbie Brown it seems. Even her Holmes stuff is fun.
Kurt Russell
Mia goth, she’s in a bunch of a24 stuff and if she’s in it you know shits about to be get weird. Which is my jam
Shovelface. But after Twilight.
Kek. Agreed.

Damn, I misread the title and thought I was going to see people that nobody wants to see in a movie like Jared Leto and was surprised at all the nice actors that were listed.
Nathan Fillion
Watched everything he made without question until the rookie came out. Put off watching it for years but sad I did as it’s a great show!
Christoph Waltz
Giovanni Ribisi
Dunno why
Ryan Renolds
Sam Rockwell.
I too enjoy watching that particular Asian girl.
Rockwell and Bale in a buddy cop movie and I’m there opening night.
I loved him in Moon but haven’t seen anything else he’s been in. Got any recs?
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.
Confessions of a Dangerous Mind is one of my favorites. Despite the fact that I’m not usually a rom-com guy, I actually liked Mr. Right.
Sam Rockwell is an awesome Zaphod Beeblebrox in The Hitchhikers’ Guide to the Galaxy.
Heist (the 2001 film)
Easily in my top 5 films, and one that rewards rewatches.
Galaxy Quest
This should be required viewing. Such a bummer we lost Alan Rickman too early and missed put on a sequel.
Galaxy Quest is one of those movies that imo is perfect as-is, like we don’t need a sequel or else it would dilute it kinda thing.
Seven Psychopaths is hilarious, same director as In Bruges if you’ve seen that one.
My mom’s answer would be Walton Goggins, but I’d have to agree cause man that guy can change characters of a dime. From his crazy almost feral killer character from American Ultra, to his character from The Unicorn, to Vice Principals, to Fallout, the guy is damn near a chameleon.
Vice Principals was so good, and it was incredibly disappointing that it got canceled. Righteous Gemstones does not scratch that itch for me, though Goggins as Uncle Baby Billy is just another character in what is a great showcase he’s put together. I feel like he kinda went under the radar for a bit and he’s getting his due now, and deservedly so.
Goggins is so hot right now and as a long time fan I’m absolutely here for it.
The Unicorn
Goggins as a trans woman in Sons of Anarchy stole the show even though this role had a total of like 3 minutes spread around in several episodes… the guy is awesome
Yeah, Goggins’ stole the show every damn time he was on screen in Justified. Great actor.
